2021 LYS TOUR REVIEW
What a privilege it was to have the ability to hold the LYS Tour this year. We pushed the Tour to August, with the hope that it wouldn't be cancelled by COVID safety measures. We also extended it to 10 days, giving the public twice as many days to visit each of the 20 participating shops. Additional changes this year included the addition of online touring, and online shopping! We wanted to include everyone - especially those who could not travel, or did not feel safe to come to the shops in person. In an effort to move towards being paper-free, we printed fewer passports, and shops created digital download codes for their free patterns. These efforts were met with praise, and it spur us on to continue making small changes to better our environment.
Whether you visited all 20 shops or just your personal LYS, we are grateful for your excitement, appreciation, and creativity. From all of us, THANK YOU for making the LYS Tour one of the largest and longest running in the nation.
