WildFibers is a Local Yarn Shop situated in the historic downtown center of Mount Vernon, Washington and is surrounded by the scenic beauty of the Skagit Valley.  Whether you enjoy strolling through tulip fields, hiking, fishing, paddling, bird watching, indulging in delicious local produce, or knitting and crocheting (of course!,) Skagit Valley has you covered. WildFibers is proud to be part of such a vibrant community and has been a creative hub here since 2005! Our goal is to inspire and empower creativity in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. WildFibers offers a diverse range of fiber arts materials and tools including needles, hooks, books, notions, project bags, and more to satisfy every maker. And then there’s the yarn! We carefully curate one of the largest selections of yarn in Washington, with something to suit every taste and budget. On our shelves, you will find offerings from Brooklyn Tweed, Knitting for Olive, Rowan, Manos del Uruguay, Berroco, Madelinetosh, Marie Wallin, Malabrigo, The Fibre Company, and Noro to name a few.  We also take great joy in bringing in new yarns on a regular basis to keep things fresh and exciting.  One of the most frequent comments we hear at the shop is,  “Wow, you have so many great samples!”  We revel in inspiring our visitors with a vast array of sweaters and accessories!  WildFibers offers group classes, open sit and knit or crochet times, one-on-one lessons and knit-a-longs on a regular basis.  We also offer convenient online shopping on our website wildfibers.net for our out of town friends, or if you need a yarn-fix after hours!
