Puget Sound LYS Tour

Whether you’re new to our community or a lifelong resident of the area, Stilly River Yarns in Stanwood, Washington is a full-service yarn shop ready to help you find your next project or get you back on track with your current one! We offer a full range of knitting and crochet supplies, along with a variety of handspinning equipment and small looms. Our selection of yarns includes products from Berroco Yarns, Ella Rae, Juniper Moon Farm, Kelbourne Woolens, and local dyers like Wild Star Fibers, Trilogy Yarns, and Schmutzerella Yarns. Our handspinning fiber selection is focused on locally-sourced and -dyed fibers, with occasional specials from indie dyers. Spinning and weaving equipment from Akerworks, Ashford, and Schacht Spindle Company will help you with stashing down or learning new skills. We’ve also got a great selection of handmade accessories and gift items that you won’t find anywhere else on the Tour. Bring your lunch or dinner (or grab a bite at any one of the amazing local restaurants nearby), take a seat on the lawn or the shop’s front porch, and enjoy a break from your Tour travels – we can’t wait to meet you!

When you arrive, there’s a dedicated accessible parking spot with a ramp in the west parking lot that we share with Krista’s PetSpaw, and there’s more parking on the east side of the building and on the street in front of the shop. Our shop is ADA-compliant, including the restroom; for those doing the Tour with very small children, we have a changing table in the restroom for your convenience.
