The New Knittery is a reimagined version of the Knittery, a Renton institution for over 50 years!
Owner, Marcy New, has rearranged the layout of the shop, bringing in a wide range of yarns in all their colors. She also arranged tables, armchairs, and rockers in spaces that are both cozy and inviting for people to sit and visit while working on projects. “I want EVERY PERSON who walks through the door to feel welcome. I am here to help people improve their fiber skills, whether that is with knitting, crochet, weaving, or spinning."
Conveniently located in the Renton Village Shopping Center, just off I-405, visitors can find their favorite treat at Starbucks (two doors away) and enjoy them as they visit The New Knittery. The New Knittery has a great website (www.thenewknittery.com) and is active on both Facebook and Instagram.
